Info
A simple framework I use when a community's growth stalls: arrive, belong, return.
Arrive is everything up to the first visit after signup. Belong is the first real exchange: a reply, a welcome, a question answered. Return is whether people come back on their own in week two, without a nudge.
Most teams pour their effort into arrive because it's the easiest stage to see. In my experience belong is where the biggest drop happens, and it's also the cheapest to fix, because it mostly needs people, not features.
