Taking a real week off from your community

Writing this from a cottage with one bar of signal and a lot of sheep. It's my first full week away from the network since we launched, and I nearly didn't go.

What made it possible: a handover note for the moderators, one person on call each day, scheduled posts for the weekly threads, and a promise to myself not to open the admin panel.

How do you prepare before stepping away? And how long did it take before you trusted the team enough to actually switch off?
